Don Waltermyer was born in York, PA in 1956. After graduating
from West Chester University in 1978 with a degree in music
education, Don went on to Westminster Theological Seminary
(Philadelphia, PA), where he earned his Master of Divinity
degree in 1983.
He has pastored churches (all in the Presbyterian Church in
America) in York, PA (where he was the church planter and pastor
for eleven years), Wilmington, DE, Morristown, TN, and
Flintstone, GA. He was called as the Senior Pastor of Washington
Presbyterian Church in 2002.
Don met his wife, Patty, in college (she was also a music major)
and they married in 1977. They have two married sons, a
daughter, and two grandchildren.
